Stage countdown for speakers. SpeakerTimer turns an iPad into a big, high-contrast countdown clock for the stage, and lets your crew follow the same clock on iPhone.

How it works

• iPad is the timer. Set the talk length and press Start. The iPad switches to a full-screen countdown that can’t be closed by accident. When time is up, it keeps counting overtime (+MM:SS).
• iPhone follows the iPad. The iPhone app mirrors a nearby iPad’s clock over your local Wi-Fi. It needs SpeakerTimer running on an iPad and can’t time a talk on its own.
• Both devices need iOS 26 or later and must be on the same Wi-Fi network (or connect the iPad to the iPhone’s Personal Hotspot).

Overtime counting, warning colors, color themes, brightness, and haptics are free for everyone. Pro is bought on the iPad.

FAQ

My iPhone can’t find the iPad.

1. Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Allow Local Network access for SpeakerTimer on both devices: Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network.
3. Venue Wi-Fi often stops devices from seeing each other. Turn on Personal Hotspot on the iPhone and connect the iPad to it.

The iPhone says the iPad is on the free plan. A free iPad serves one iPhone at a time. Upgrade to Pro on the iPad, then tap Reconnect on the iPhone.

How do I leave the countdown screen? Tap the top-left corner of the iPad screen 5 times within 2 seconds.

How do I restore Pro on a new iPad? On the iPad, open the Pro section in Setup, open the upgrade screen, and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought Pro with.

I have an offer code. On the iPad, open the Pro section in Setup and tap Redeem Code.

How do I get a refund? Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

iPhone 找不到 iPad。

1. 確認兩台裝置連到同一個 Wi-Fi。

3. 會場 Wi-Fi 常會阻擋裝置互連。可以打開 iPhone 的個人熱點，讓 iPad 連上它。

iPhone 顯示「這台 iPad 是免費版」。 免費版的 iPad 一次只能連 1 台 iPhone。在 iPad 升級 Pro 後，到 iPhone 按「重新連線」。
